Pelaksanaan Proper Dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup

Abstract

The developmentof industrial sector has contribute a very positive impacts to the local community such as opening opportunities and job vacancies, connecting people on that area to the outside world and widening the development of all fields. On the other hand, it has also increasing the negative impacts for local communities such as producing water pollution, air, noise, dust and so on. Due to the existence of these problems, the government issued a policy which is called as PROPER (Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management) in Indonesia. This study aimed to find an effective and efficient model in the proper implementation through environmental management system, to know the factors that influence and analyze the community empowerment system in the implementation of proper. The data obtained through interviews, observations and questionnaires by using mixed methods of quantitative and qualitative and also triangulation analysis. The key informants were taken by using snowball sampling as needed. Further, these three variables could be collaborated as an effective and efficient model in the proper implementation such in Figure 1. By aplicating this model, the company's performance will be more optimal andlater, the environmental crisis can be overcome
