Kajian Sosial-Budaya Dan Kearifan Lokal Dalam Pengelolaan Hutan Dan Daerah Aliran Sungai

Abstract

It should be in the planning and management of forests and watersheds, not only based on physical conditions but also based on information about the socio-cultural conditions of local communities. It aims to make the management of forests and watersheds forward in accordance with the conditions and needs of local communities. Neglected socio-cultural aspects in forest and watershed development will have an impact on the low or minimum community participation in forest management, the increasing damage of physical infrastructure and environmental development facilities, and the increasing extent of forest destruction due to the urgent need of the people living around the forest. This paper explores the importance of socio-cultural aspects as a paradigm of sustainable forest development, important elements in the scope of socio-cultural studies and the relevance of this study to the concept of local wisdom. To enrich the case examples as comparators related to the socio-cultural aspects and local wisdom, a literature review of relevant research findings was conducted, as well as an analysis of the different cases from different parts of Indonesia
