Abstract:
Pyrazoline is a five ring heterocyclic compound with two nitrogen atoms and three carbon atoms. The compound of pyrazoline 5-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazole (PF-4F-3,4OMe) has been synthesized by a one-pot reaction under microwave involving condensation and cyclization reactions between 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, 4-fluoroacetophenone and phenylhydrazine with sodium hydroxide catalyst. The purity of the compound was analyzed by TLC, determination of melting point and HPLC. PF-4F-3,4OMe compounds have been characterized using UV, FTIR, 1HNMR and HRMS spectroscopy. Synthesized compound showed yield 30.16% in a yellowish white crystalline. The activity of the PF-4F-3,4OMe compound was screened through toxicity test using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. Results of toxicity test showed that PF-4F-3,4OMe compounds is non-toxic with LC50 is 91.348 .103 μg/mL
