dc.description.abstract This article discusses iterative methods formed by combining Newton's method and an iterative method with a correction function that depends on the value of the function and values of the two derivative functions. Analytically it is demonstrated that the proposed method is of order ve. Numerical computation shows that the method is comparable with the existing methods in the same class. en_US
