dc.description.abstract |
Celery (Apium graveolens L. var. secalinum) is a vegetable that has a spesific aroma that attract many people in Indonesia. The celery cultivation in Pekanbaru is still limited due to unsuitable enviroment for its growth. Therfore, the information of the development of organic fertilization technology in celery cultivation at law land area is necessary. This research aimed to determine the respon of celery length and root volume to the treatments of oil palm compost and bufallo manure fertilization, as well as their combination. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with ten treatments, one control that repeated twelve times and nine treatment repeated four times. Data were analizied using (ANOVA) continued with Duncan test at 5%. The result showed that ten treatments influenced the length and root volume. The best treatments in producing the length and volume of root was oil palm fronds compost dose was 300 g. The average of lengt and root volume was 13,13 cm and 1,50 m |
