Abstract
Problems in this study low learning output of students, because teachers still use the traditional way and without applying an innovative learning model, so that the subject matter does not correspond to real-world life child, resulting in low student learning output. To overcome these problems, one of the models of learning that can improve student learning output is Contextual Learning Model. Subjects in this research were students 27 people. The research was conducted II cycles, the cycle I held three meetings and the second cycle was implemented in three meetings. Data collection instruments used are daily test achievement test, the student and teacher observation sheet. This study aims to improve student learning output. Teacher activity cycle I 8.33% and cycle II 16.66%. The increase in average student activity cycle I 3.83% and cycle II 19.75%. In the first cycle the average student grade classical completeness 63.51 to 48.15%. In the second cycle increased by 11.49 points with an average of 75 students a class with classical completeness 81.48%. So overall increase in the average classroom student learning output in the amount of 14.45 points. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of Contextual Teaching And Learning Model to Improve Physical Sciences Learning Output Grade IV SD 012 Pangkalan Baru Kampar.
