dc.description.abstract |
Antioxidant as represent chemical compound that fungtion as resistor of
oxidation which cause of free radical. The highest of antioxidant activity influenced
by the highest of total size of phenolics or other compound that act as antioxidant in
crop. Treatment of crop influence content of total phenol and antioxidant activity.
Kangkong {Ipomea reptans Poir) which planted organically with biocontrol which
use random group method with three treatment, consist of: 1. FPE grass pahitan
{Paspalum conjagatum P.J. Bergius); 2. FPE babadotan {(Ageratum conyzoides
Linn); 3. Control. Data analyzed by statistically use ANOVA and continued by
DNMRT test level 5%, and compared with plant that planted in conventional. This
research purpose to determine profiles of phenolics and antioxidant activity from
kangkong {Ipomea reptans Poir) which plant organically (use FPE babadotan and
FPE grass pahitan) and conventional. Result of this research indicates that content of
total phenolics of kangkong that plant as conventional about 0,982 mg/g fresh weight
and antioxidant activity about 41,82%.
