dc.description.abstract Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 94 Pekanbaru Siti Quratul Ain1, Erlisnawati2, Munjiatun3 Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau Abstract This study is to improve learning outcomes of IPS lesson by applying jigsaw-type cooperative learning model for SDN 94 on Fifth Grade Pekanbaru. Jigsaw is one of the cooperative learning models where students are placed in a team of 4 to 5 people to learn the material that has been divided into some sections for each member. The study was conducted from April to May 2012. The subjects of this study were Fifth year students of SDN 94 Pekanbaru on school year 2011/2012 with the total students is 40 people that consisting of 17 boys and 23 girls. The data class research is the data on regarding to learning outcomes and the implementation of learning by applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning model type. The techniques of data collection are done through an observation and test while the technique of data analysis is through the using of the descriptive analysis. The results of the data analysis can be seen from the activities of teachers during the implementation of cooperative learning jigsaw type in the first cycle with an average of 70.8% with good category. Meanwhile the second cycle increased the mean percentage of 93.75% with a very good category. Activities of students during the learning process with the implementation of cooperative jigsaw type in the first cycle with an mean 68.75% with good category. The second cycle increased the mean percentage of 91.65% with a very good category. Class completeness on the basic score is 32.5% with an mean of 57.78 learning outcomes. On the other hand, the second cycle becomes 87.5% with an average learning outcome of 82.75. Thus it can be said the implementation of cooperative learning jigsaw type can improve the learning outcome of Fifth year student on sdn 94 Pekanbaru with school year 2011/2012 en_US
