Abstract:
Vanilla crop {Vanilla planifolia Andrews) representing one of high economic
valuable mace crop and the main commodity o f Indonesian typical crop. Generally
the vanilla crop developed by vegetatif that is by stek. The other way of vegetatif is
also conducted by using In Vitro technique. The objective of this research is to get the
real influence of Kinetin and l AA treatment for vanilla explant {Vanilla planifolia
Andrews) growth that is multiplied by In Vitro. It's conducted from May up to
August 2006 using Completely Randomize Device (RAL). The result of the research
show that combination of 0,4 ppm Kinetin and 1 ppm lAA induce the vanilla root
faster, while the combination of 0,4 ppm Kinetin and 2 ppm l AA good for internode
of vanilla explant growth.
