Abstract:
This article discusses four ratio estimators for population mean using two auxiliary variables that are modified using the coefficient of variation and coefficient of kurtosis
on simple random sampling. The four estimators are biased estimators and the minimum value of the mean square errors is determined. Furthermore, this minimum value is
compared to the minimum value mean square error of each estimator. This comparison shows that the ratio estimator using coefficient of variation and the coefficient of kurtosis is more efficient than the traditional estimator using two auxiliary variables
