dc.description.abstract In science instruction, students are instructed to find out the answer of the natural phenomena. To enable the students to seek out the natural phenomena in science instruction, students should have science process skills and scientific attitudes as well as scientific knowledge. Therefore, appropriate teaching methods are an experiment. Unfortunately, this method is still rarely used by science teachers. Several previous studies indicated that this condition is caused by a number of constraints faced by teachers and students. Some of them are limited time to do the experiment at school, lack of materials and equipment in the laboratory, and sharing of the laboratory. To solve this problem, the researcher is trying to develop an alternative strategy that allows students to practice science process skills and their scientific attitudes. This strategy is by taking home a number of science experiments which enable them to conduct at home. These experiments can be done by students in their spare time and repeatedly, thus expected to improve their science process skills and scientific attitudes. To develop this strategy, the researcher used Addie instructional design model and reported in this paper on analysis phase of Addie model. en_US
