Abstract:
This research aims to study the effect ameliorant of dregs some dosage for the N, P and K uptake by local varieties of rice (Payo Besar) and superior (Inpari-12) in the vegetative phase on peatland. The research was conducted on Tanjung Air Hitam village, Kerumutan district, Pelalawan-Riau from August 2012 to April 2013. The research methode was conducted experimentally using a split plot design as completely randomized design which consists of the main plot was the varieties of rice (Payo Besar and Inpari 12). The subplot was the ameliorant of dregs (1.25 ton, 2.5 tons and 5 tons per hectare) and did replications 3 times of each other. The result of research indicates that application ameliorant of dregs 1.25 ton/ha by rice of Payo Besar and Inpari 12 on peatland to be higher of the N, P, K uptake, the height, the maximum number of tillers and the dry weight canopy of rice.
