dc.description.abstract	Writing in college often takes the form of persuasion. It should be convincing, interesting, and attracting readers. In college, course assignments often ask students to make a persuasive case in writing such as analytical essay, expository essay, and argumentative essay. One kind of essays that is important and useful in academic life is argumentative essay. In this kind of essay, students are asked to convince the readers of their points of view. This article is based on descriptive research which focuses on checking the ability of the fifth semester students in writing argumentative essay.	en_US
