dc.description.abstract Learning outcomes is the impact of the learning process. The characteristics of the changes that describe learning outcomes such as changes in behavior, personality, and mindset. Growing and varied learning model creates an alternative way of teaching. Most of the new learning model based on the educational development of the western world, making it difficult for educators to implement it because of our culture and our student’s different abilities. One of the learning model is the model of Cooperative Learning Jigsaw is pressing on the type of cooperation between individuals in a base group and expert groups. Researchers wanted to compare the results of applying classroom learning cooperative learning model type with a class that receives Jigsaw learning model regular, research conducted on the class V SD Negeri 99 Pekanbaru. Formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there a significant difference between the increase in mathematics achievement of students who received the application model of cooperative learning model type Jigsaw and the learning of students who received regular lesson?". The purpose of this study is to examine the increase in mathematics achievement between students who received the application of cooperative learning model Jigsaw type models and students who received regular lessons. Obtaining the results of the experimental class pretest average of 42,4 increased to 66,5, while the control class average pretest score 41,08 which increased to 58. At the end of the study both the average well in the pretest and posttest was not significantly different, despite the increase. en_US
