Abstract:
This research is intended to know the development of Pencak Silat Extracurricular at
SMP PGRI PEKANBARU year of academic. This research is going to use descriptive
method that showing a phenomenon can be concluded from respondents’ ideas toward
conveyed statements. The statements which are conveyed have correlation with:
1. Teachers’s guide quality in realization Pencak Silat Extracurricular.
2. Student’s interest in realization Pencak Silat Extracurricular, and
3. The facilities in realization Pencak Silat Extrarcurricuar at SMP PGRI
PEKANBARU.
The data collection technique is going to use total population sampling. The data is
got by sending questionnaire to the respondent then the respondents answer the
statements.
Furthermore, the data was going to be analyzed by using presented statistical
formulation. The result showed that teacher’s guide quality in realization PencakSilat
Extracurricular at SMP PGRI PEKANBARU year of academic 0n good category, 79, 07
%. Students’ interest in realization Pencak Silat Extacurricular at SMP PGRI
PEKANBARU year of academic on excellent category, 91,20 %. And also, the facilities
in realization Pencak Silat at SMP PGRI PEKANBARU on good category, 79, 73 %. And
all indicators in development PencakSilat Extracurricular at SMP PGRI PEKANBARU
year of academic is 83,42 %, on good category. Thus, the development of PencakSilat
Extracurricular at SMP PGRI PEKANBARU year of academic is good category.
