Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to know the increase of chemistry learning
achievement at the oxidation reaction and reduction reaction topic which was conducted at
SMA Negeri 1 Ukui in 2010/2011. This method of research is pre-experiment with pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used is test technique and the data processing
used is statistics t test. From the hypothesis test processing can get count t
value > ttable
(2,219> 1,67). Thus, we can conclude that application of peer tutoring methods at the
oxidation reaction and reduction reaction is be able to increase achievement chemistry
learning by students of X grade SMAN 1 Ukui to increase student achievement by 8,4%.
