Analisis Usahatani Padi Sawah (Oryza Sativa L.) di Desa Mukti Jaya Kecamatan Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

Abstract

This research was conducted toanalyze the rice farming income (Oryza sativa L.) in Mukti Jaya VillageRimba Melintang District Rokan Hilir Regency. The choice of location was based research because Mukti Jaya Village is the largest rice-producing village in Rimba MelintangDistrict Rokan Hilir Regency, while Rokan Hilir is the largest rice producing in Riau Province. This research was conducted on rice planting season in January to April 2012. This research was performed by using survey method with purposive sampling, with a sample size of 30 respondents who have 0,5 ha – 2,5 ha.Theresults showed that the average land farm area is 1,23 ha, rice production obtained is 4.095,93 kg/ha/growing season, and the revenue Rp. 13.516.585,37/ha/growing season. Totalproduction costs Rp. 4.857.231,00/ha/growing season, whilethe profit gotten by the farmers Rp. 8.659.354,37/ha/growing season, and family employment income Rp. 8.944.418,25/ha/growing season.
