Abstract:
This study is titled : Towards self problem the student of class X.
The porpose of this study are : 1) To describe the self problem class X before
given the group counseling services. 2) To describe the decrease of the self
problem class X after given the group counseling services. 3) To determine
differences in self problem class X before and after given the group counseling
services. 4) To determine the influences of the group counseling towards self
problem the students of class X. The samples were taken from all members of a
population of 16 students of class X. Are experiencing personal problems
themselves. The instrument uset was a questionnaire. Data obtained from the
processing of persond self-description of the problem before the students werw
given a group counseling services are in many categorys as many as 1 student
(6%), moderate category as many as 11 students (69%), less category as man y as
3 students (19%) and few category as many as 1 student (6%). Meanwhile the
description of the self problem decrease after given the group counseling services
an many categorys as many as 0 student (6%), moderate category as many as 1
student (6%), less category as many as 10 students (63%) and few category as
many as 5 students (31%). Based on the calculation result obtained determinant
coefficient r² values = 0,22 it means there are 22% group counseling services
contribute to the decline of students personal problems themselves. Based on the
description above there is a significant difference between the decrease of
students personal problems themselves before and after the implementation of
group conseling services
