Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Rotating Trio Exchange (Rte) Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Reaksi Reduksi Oksidasi Di Kelas X Sma Negeri 2 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Abstract Research about the application of cooperative learning model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) has been done to improve student achievement on the subject of reduction and oxidation reaction in class X SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. Form of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Time data collection between February 14th – March 7th, 2013. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X.3 as the experimental class and the class X.5 as a class controls randomly selected after test of normality and homogeneity test. Experimental class is treated by applying a model of cooperative Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE), while the control class was treated to a lecture. Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the final results of data process by using t-test formula obtained ttest>ttable is 2,46>1,67 means that the application of cooperative learning model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) can improve student achievement on the subject reduction and oxidation reaction in class X SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. Increased student achievement on classroom experiments supported the normalized gain scores (N-gain) was 0,75 that included high category.
