dc.description.abstract Sago (Metroxylon sagu Rottb.) solid waste is produced during extraction of sago strach. It contains high acid compounds and may cause environmental polution. Hovewer, sago solid waste also has small amount of important nutrients. The composting of sago solid waste is one of the best way to improve the nutrient that applicable for plants. The aims of this study were to find out the influence of different material composition of sago solid waste on compost quality based on the National Standard of Indonesia (SNI) 2004. This study used six material compositions of sago solid waste compost. The fermentatiom was carried out at Laboratory of Botany, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Science. The result showed that the difference material composition of sago solid waste affected the availability of N, P, K and ratio of C/N. en_US
