Abstract:
The research was conducted in PT Insani Equator, an electrical contracting company, with the aim to determine the effect of organizational communication and a commitment to employee discipline. The benefits of this research can be a valuable input for the company to improve work discipline its employees by conducting evaluations on aspects of organizational communication and commitment from the leadership.
This study uses primary data and secondary data. Where is the technique of data collection was conducted by interviews and questionnaires population of 35 employees. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression testing. The results of the descriptive analysis indicated that organizational communication is still not optimal in other words are in sufficient condition. While the average employee also concluded yet committed to an optimal level. Results of the assessment of leadership also concludes that the average level of employee discipline is still not optimal as expected. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was concluded that the communication variables significantly influence the organization and commitment, simultaneously and partially on work discipline.
