dc.description.abstract Sexually transmitted disease is a health problem around the world not only at developed countries but also at developing countries. During this decades, the incidence and prevalence of sexually transmitted disease is rapidly increasing in some countries around the world. The purpose of this research is to identificate Trichmonas vaginalis among female sex workers at Jondul area Pekanbaru. Indentification is done by using giemsa staining of female sex worker’s vaginal swab. The research was descriptive and already done on Januari 2013. The result of this research shows that from 35 respondents, there are 17,14 % of them were infected Trichomonas vaginalis. The respondents who are infected and using vaginal antiseptic often daily is 33,4%, and not using condom with sexual partner is 83,3 %. en_US
