Abstract:
The activities of the informal sector is a characteristic that is independent of people's
economy and about the lives of many people. Dependence on the informal sector to survive
make this sector to survive and find a place hearts migrants. The market is a place where
people can conduct transactions and purchase of goods. Judging from the type, the market can
be divided into two namely the traditional and modern markets.
Traditional markets are growing informal sector and in the community. Where the market
is where economic activity (buying and selling), the market is also a major driver of economic
and market dynamics is one of the most important institutions in the economic institutions.
Profile of traders and buyers in general and aged> 35 years, mostly traders and buyers in
Traditional Markets Panam from Minangkabau tribe, while education is education for traders
is lower than the average buyer has a secondary education, married and have responsibility
between 3-7 people.
In general, the characteristics of which occurs in the informal sector traders and buyer
activity showed social, and economic relations. Activity between merchants and buyers are not
