dc.description.abstract |
Pekanbaru city with all its pros and cons when it has become a
metropolis. But over time the city of Pekanbaru apparently logical
consequence of the emergence of various problems such as: population,
poverty, employment, safety, health, hygiene, settlements, congestion,
terminal shadow, travel illegally and so on. One of the most interesting
issues to be discussed today is the problem of illegal travel that is increasing
every year. This study aims to determine the effort made in the control of
the Department of Transportation public transportation less than optimal and
to determine the limiting factors faced by the Department of Transportation
to perform an audit of public transport. Theory of coordination, oversight,
and policy is the premise of this research. The method used is descriptive
method of analysis with a qualitative approach that seeks to analyze the
problems that arise in the field and try to describe very clearly. Based on the
analysis that has been done, it can be seen that the efforts of the Department
of Transportation under the control of public transport not running
optimally, the condition is that it is difficult to reduce or eliminate illegal
travel or travel agency in the city of Batam. This is due to a lack of
awareness of international law and the lack of firmness in carrying out these
rules. And in doing controlling the many efforts undertaken by the
Department of Transportation, the Surveillance, raid/crawl, Data Collection
and Guidance (socialization). The limiting factors facing the Department of
Transportation to implement enforcement of Illegal Travel Public transport
in particular is coming from the government, from the elements of the
Department of Transportation, and the Society of the elements of the
elements of PO/driver. In accordance with the results of this study, the
government should be more assertive in implementing policing or public
transport travel in particular the growing illegal agents. |
