ANALYSIS ON THE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES OF WOMEN IN THE RITEIL COMPANY IN PEKANBARU CITY

Abstract

This research to test whether the factors affecting the employment opportunities of women in the riteil company in pekanbaru city. This research sought to focus attention on employment in the trade, especially trade ritail. Where the current efforts in this rapidly growing retail sector in Pekanbaru city, which is one of the characteristics of the growth and development of the regional economy. Currently there are 3 units and 5 Plaza mall in the Pekanbaru city. Riteal sector is very much female employment especially for him clerk. This research used a sample of female workers who work in the Pekanbaru city to much as 96 saleswoman and sampling conducted by purposive random sampling method is to take a random sample are considered to be representative of the entire salesman. Data collection using a questionnaire regarding the level of education, marital status, level of wages, value added and employment. In this study, researchers conducted tests and simultaneous partial hypothesis. The results showed the level of education, marital status, wage rates and added value are all factors that affect employment. It has been proven by testing hypotheses simultaneously or in conjunction with the F test to obtain F count of 11.963 is greater than F table at α = 0.05 confidence level of 3.18, the level of education, marital status, level of wages and value added jointly significant effect on employment
