Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to find out the influence between the intensity in communication of parents and students toward their prestige in the learning subject of IPS in MTs Hasanah Pekanbaru. In order to achieve the goal of this research; therefore, purposive sampling is used as the main sampling order taken from a total of 52 students out of a total population of 131 students. Data is taken from a series of questionnaire and documentation. Data was analyzed by using simple data linear regression. Results shows that there is a significant different towards the results of students over the communication between their parents and themselves. From the results of the data analysis using the formula of Fhitung > Ftable which is 27,417 >3,16 there is influence significant difference towards the results of students over the communication between their parents and themselves. The determine results R2= 0,354 or 35,4 percent means that variable intensity in communication from parents contribute explain in learnig achievements variabel a total of 35,4 percent. The remaining 64,6 percent is contribute by other variabel such as the talents and interest of students, level of intelligence, learning discipline, the manner of teachers and environmental variable which are not being recorded within this research.
