dc.description.abstract The research is classroom action research aims to improving mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of cooperative model learning think pair square fourth grade students of SD Negeri 002 Bantaian Kecamatan Batu Hampar Kabupaten Rokan Hilir semester academic year 2011/2012 on the subject matter of fractions that were held in the SD Negeri 002 Bantaian Kecamatan Batu Hampar Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. When research is done in the second semester of academic year 2011/2012 the number of students by 20 people consisting of male students and female students 14 people 16 people with the heterogeneous academic ability. From the research that has been conducted in the second cycle of the first cycle and second cycle each of the three meetings and daily test showed that the number of students who achieve mastery criteria Minumum 60 on the base score 9 students (45%), increased in I cycle to 10 students (50%) and increased again in the second cycle to 19 students (95%). It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative model learning think pair square can improve student learning outcomes math class of IV SD Negeri 002 Bantaian Kecamatan Batu Hampar Kabupaten Rokan Hilir in the school year 2011/2012 on the subject matter is fractions. en_US
