Abstract:
To improve learning outcomes through the application of mathematical models of cooperative learning NHT type class of IV Elementary School 013 Bagan Hulu Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir semester of academic year 2011/2012 on the subject matter of geometrical properties. This research was conducted in the fourth grade elementary school 013 Bagan Hulu Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir the second semester of academic year 2011/2012. As a research subject is class of IV Elementary School 013 Bagan Hulu Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir by the number of students 25 people consisting of 12 male students and 13 female students who have heterogeneous capabilities. Forms of the research is a class act. In the research model used is the model type of cooperative learning in teaching Numbered Head Together space. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of the first cycle and second cycle each of the three meetings and one-time daily tests. The results showed that the use of cooperative learning NHT model can improve student learning outcomes, it is shown in the number of students who achieve mastery criteria Minumum 70 on the base score 4 students (16%), increased in the first cycle to 5 students (20%) and increased again in the second cycle to 22 students (88%). implementation of cooperative learning Numbered Head Together types to improve mathematics learning outcomes Elementary School fourth grade students 013 Bagan Hulu on the subject matter of geometrical in the second semester of academic year 2011/2012.
