Abstract:
The aim of this study is to know the picture of the determine the risk factors that influence the rate of relapse of patients with asthma. The design of the research is survey analytic to analyzing with design is a case-control study. The research do in the Arifin Achmad Hospital with sample as 35 respondents. The sampling method was purposive sampling. The research uses questionnaire, the questionnaire had been tested validity and reliability. The research uses univariate and bivariat analysis. The results showed factors that influence the incidence of asthma is family history (p value = 0.003), smoking (p value = 0.006), having a pet (p value = 0.003), home furnishings (p value = 0.044), milk allergy (p value = 0.000) and climate change (p value = 0.000) . The results of this study recommend health workers to provide health information about factors that influence the risk of recurrence of asthma to the people who seek treatment at the hospital.
