Abstract:
The research was conducted in Kampar district. The election of this area on the basis that: (a)
most of the population Kampar regency eyed quest in the plantation sector (b) Kampar regency
regency is also one that makes the rubber plantations as the belle of the plantation sector. This study
took place in May 2012 until the month of June 2012. The purpose of this study are: to determine the
pattern of development of rubber plantation in an effort to increase production and income of
farmers in Kampar district.
The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. The data
that have been obtained are gathered, in the tabulation, then in the process of descriptive analysis
methods, while qualitative analysis using statistical analysis of non parametik.
To complete this study, the authors used primary data obtained from questionnaires that ask authors
to respondents, include, the amount of land owned, type of rubber, produced, income received and
the reason rejuvenation, as well as secondary data obtained from the Office Kampar regency estate.
Furthermore, the authors conducted a study of literature, obtain theories necessary to strengthen
this study. In this study, a sample of the population are farmers in Kampar district. Samples were
family farmers.
Based on the results of the calculations have been done correlation between the two
variables, which produces a significant number of 0274 with a 0006 value <0.05 then the Ho is
rejected. Mean correlation between the level of farmers' income before and after the pattern is
related to the pure self-evident. Based on the calculations that have been done, because the sign. (2-
Tailed) 0000 <0025 then Ho is rejected, it means that there is an average difference before and after
the pattern of pure self to income of smallholder rubber farmers in Kampar regency
