Abstrac
Study was based on learning output IPA fifth grade on SDN 012 Pulau Beralo Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi semester 2011/2012. Formulation of the problem in this study is the use of concept maps to improve learning output IPA fifth grade SDN 012 Pulau Beralo Kuantan Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi.The purpose of this research is to remind the student learning output IPA fifth grade SDN 012 Pulau Beralo Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir downstream to implement a concept map learning model. This study uses classroom action research using a model of learning in grade fifth concept maps SDN 012 Pulau Beralo Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir by the number of students 36 students. action is carried out in March 2012. IPA study results obtained after application of the concept maps learning model in the first cycle UH I, the obtained value of the ability of these students to learn science mastery 72.33% or 26 students. UH II second cycle increased by 91.67% mastery or 33 students.
