Abstract:
The research was conducted in April-July 2012 in the Pangkalan Sesai village, Dumai city using experimental methods (5 treatments with 3 replications). Research shows the highest concentration (1.0 ml / cm 2) causes a decrease in biomass day (0) 25.7 g to 4.5 g, 0.7 cm leaf width increase, the growth of the number of leaves 0, increase stem diameter 0.60 cm and increase stem height 2.6 cm, while the lowest concentration (1.0 ml / cm 2) caused a decrease in biomass at day (0) 24.4 g to 15 g, 0.22 cm leaf width increase, the growth of the number of leaf 2.4, added 0.114 cm stem diameter and plant height increment 4.4 cm. The higher the concentration of given oil, the higher the biomass reduction occurring and diminishing growth rate in the mangrove Rhizophora apiculata seedling
