Abstract:
The relocation of the National Capital City is the government's effort in dealing with the carrying
capacity and capacity of the environment which is no longer able to support economic activities. This
policy reaped various responses, both positive and negative. The realization of this discourse cannot
be separated from the need for various aspects, such as readiness of funds, geographical conditions,
infrastructure and others. For this reason, it is also necessary to consider various inputs, including
community responses or public sentiment towards the discourse on the transfer of the National
Capital City. One alternative to get public sentiment is through social media Twitter. Tweets or
tweets on Twitter can be classified through the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The results
of applying the National Capital City method to classify public sentiment regarding the transfer of
the National Capital City were carried out using 3 combinations of data testing. The distribution of
data at the highest level of accuracy is obtained at the division of 70%: 30%, which is 93%. While
the lowest level of accuracy is obtained at the distribution of data 60%: 40%, which is 90%.
