Abstract:
Have been do the research by apply cooperative learning with the roving groups techniques to increase student achievement in the subject colloidal systems in class XI Science SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The research’s type is experiment research conducted on 15 May to 16 June 2012. The sample consisted of two classes, namely XI IPA 3 as the experiment class and the control class XI IPA 1. The experiment class is the class treated by cooperative learning the roving group techniques, while the control class is the class untreated cooperative learning roving group techniques. Increasing student achievement is measured using the research instrument pretest and posttest form of matter. Data analysis technique used is the t-test using the data obtained from the test value and the value homogeneity and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning techniques roving groups can improve student achievement with an increase of 6.086%.
