Abstract:
The number of women who die from any cause of death related to pregnancy
disorders or their management (excluding accidents, suicides or incidental cases)
during pregnancy, childbirth and in the postpartum period (42 days after delivery)
without taking into account the length of pregnancy per 100,000 live births is the
definition mother's death. The number of maternal deaths in 2021 is 7,389 deaths.
Modeling the number of maternal deaths in Indonesia using Poisson regression
has experienced overdispersion to overcome this using Geographically Weighted
Negative Binomial Regression. Based on the regression model used, it was found
that the variable that has a significant effect on all provinces in Indonesia is the
percentage of pregnant women who receive K1 services.
