Abstract:
Information technology includes hardware, software to carry out one or a number of
data processing tasks such as capturing, transmitting, storing, retrieving, manipulating
or displaying data, all types of technology that are capable of processing or sending
information in electronic form, a set of tools to facilitate the arrangement of tasks
related to processing data, information and communication, and solving problems,
opening up creativity, increasing effectiveness and efficiency in doing work. IT
Governance is the executive responsibility of a board of directors and top management.
Governance consists of the leadership, organizational structure and processes that
ensure that the strategy and objectives of the enterprise and IT organizations. The
Department of Food Planting, Holtilkurtura, and Food Security (TPHKP) of Kuantan
Singingi Regency (Kuansing) is one of the services in the Kuansing Regency
Government. This service is engaged in fostering and mobilizing food crop farmers,
horticultural farmers to increase production and income and maintain regional food
security. This study aims to analyze the governance of information technology at the
Department of Food Planting, Holtilkurtura, and Food Security in Kuansing Regency
based on the COBIT 5 Framework with EDM (Evaluating, Direction, and Monitoring)
and DSS (Deliver, Service, and Support) domains selected. based on the mapping
carried out and based on the existing problems. Based on the results of the
questionnaire, it is known that 6 processes in the TPHKP Service already have
capability level 3, namely EDM01, EDM03, EDM04, EDM05, DSS01 and have
capability level 4 EDM02. According to each capability level Foreach process, the
target level to be achieved is 1 level above, namely Capability level 4 and there is one
process that has reached the target level, namely EDM02.
