SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN MAWAPRES DENGAN METODE VIKOR (STUDI KASUS: FMIPA UNIVERSITAS RIAU)

Abstract

Performing students are students who have superior academic and non-academic skills, not only have good IPK (cumulative achievement index), but also supported with other skills and soft skills. The purpose of this study is to network accomplished students who will be sent in the university-level PILMAPRES and apply the VIKOR method in the selection of accomplished students. To choose the most important requirement of students is the criteria. Criteria are the components that are considered in selecting an accomplished student. The criteria for research are creative ideas, foreign language ability, achievement, and GPA. The selection of accomplished students still uses a manual calculation form, which takes a long time. Therefore, this study recommended that a decision support system (SPK) for the selection of accomplished students should be established to support the selection process of accomplished students at Riau universities, especially at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences to determine the decisions taken to be more targeted. The method of collecting data to obtain research data is interview, field study and observation. Then, a data analysis is carried out, which is normalizing, calculating S and R values, determining index values, determining ranges and performing alternative solutions.
