Abstract:
Module photovoltaic is an alternative energy development device as a converter of light energy into electrical
energy. However, in its development the efficiency of the photovoltaic module is still relatively low. Flat
reflector is one of the methods used to increase the intensity of light hitting the surface of the photovoltaic so
as to increase the resulting efficiency. The reflector material used is a mirror and aluminum foil which is
placed with variations in the angle of placement of the reflector on the photovoltaic module. The experimental
results show that the efficiency of the module using a reflector is better than without using a reflector. The
efficiency of the module using a mirror reflector is higher than that of an aluminum foil reflector with a
meshing of 90% and 89%, respectively.
