dc.description.abstract In this study, ZnO samples were synthesized with the microwave-assisted Pometia pinnata extract at 540 Watts of power. ZnO samples were prepared by varying the pH from 8 to 12. The results of the ZnO synthesis were analyzed for optical absorption properties with a wavelength of 250-750 nm using UV-Vis spectroscopy. The highest absorption peak was obtained at pH 11 sample with an absorbance value of 1.2 a.u. Each sample has a different absorbance value and wavelength. This ZnO sample has the potential to be applied in photocatalyst processes. en_US
