PENERAPAN METODE CHAID UNTUK MENGKLASIFIKASI PREEKLAMPSIA DI KECAMATAN GAUNG KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HILIR PROVINSI RIAU

Abstract

Preeclampsia is one of the leading causes of death in pregnant women. Preeclampsia is high blood pressure after 20 weeks of pregnancy or after delivery where blood pressure of 140/90 mmHg included by 30 mg of urea protein in the urine for 24 hours. This study was conducted to classify the incidence of preeclampsia, so that the factors that cause preeclampsia can be identified. The method used in this study is the Chi Squared Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID) method which produces a decision tree in the classification and the level of accuracy in the classification tree. The data used were 125 pregnant women in Gaung Sub-District Indragiri Hilir District Riau Province in 2020 which consisted of 52 women who had preeclampsia and 73 women who did not experience preeclampsia. Analysis of the CHAID method resulted in 4 segments where the predictor variables that influenced the classification are history of family planning, work status and history of disease. The accuracy of the classification of the CHAID method is 70,4%.
