Abstract:
This article discusses the M/M/C queuing model at the Puskesmas Tanah Tinggi
using a Monte Carlo simulation. The queuing system applied at the Puskesmas
Tanah Tinggi is a type of queue system M/M/C, namely a queuing system that has
a Poisson distribution of arrival patterns and an exponential distribution of service
patterns. There are two doctors who serve patients in general polyclinics with service
disciplines first come first served (FCFS). The effectiveness of the queuing model
is done by calculating the queuing model analysis and calculating using the Monte
Carlo simulation method. The effectiveness of the existing queuing system already
meets service standards. This is shown from the data from the utility calculation
or the ratio of utilization of the queuing system with two doctors serving at 0.88 or
88% the system is running well.
