Abstract:
Software testing is an important element in determining the quality of a software. Portal
Kukerta Universitas Riau is a portal used to process all academic activities related to
Kukerta. The Kukerta Portal has long been used but in its implementation, there has
been no discussion about testing the Kukerta Portal. In this final task, the test is
applied, namely testing using the Black Box Testing technique. Black box testing is the
testing of an application that discusses the outside of a software application, where
everything from the display to the input action in the testing strategy. Black Box has
several methods including Equivalence Partition Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) and
Performance Testing. The volunteer in the testing of the Riau University Kukerta Portal
is specifically for students majoring in Computer Science FMIPA who participated in
Kukerta in 2019 and DPL FMIPA, especially 7 Lecturers of the Department of
Computer Science, Riau University who were involved in Kukerta in 2019. Testing was
conducted on the DPL registration form, Student login form, student login form itself
has several actions, among others: programs and work activities, village monographs,
external uploads, evaluation of the implementation of kukerta, and kukerta value
information. The conclusions generated based on the tests that have been done are the
portal Kukerta University of Riau is able to handle data. It is hoped that this research
can provide recommendations on testing the accuracy level of Kukerta portal software
of Riau University and will provide the best solution for Riau University for the future.
