dc.description.abstract	This paper discusses Newton-Obadah-Newton’s (NON) method for solving a nonlinear equation. The convergence analysis shows that NON’s method has an eighthorder convergence. As for the end discussion, a numerical comparison of NON’s method and other methods with the same order convergence have been observed which conclude that NON’s method can be used as an alternative method for solving a nonlinear equation.	en_US
