Abstract:
TPA Muara Fajar is a final waste disposal site located at Muara Fajar, Pekanbaru
City which uses an open dumping system. This system still has the potential to
spread leachate to the area surround the TPA because this system does not fullfil
the criteria of a TPA. This study aims to identify the depth of the subsurface
structure around the Muara Fajar TPA area using the Schlumberger configuration
geoelectric method and determine the quality of leachate using several parameters
including pH, BOD, COD, and Kadmium. The resistivity value data was
processed using Microsoft Exel Software. The process was continued with
inversion using Progress Software v3.0 to determine the value of the layer depth
at each measurement point. The measurement result for line 1 produces the
resistivity value ranging from 1015,08 – 3, 61 ohm-meters and line 2 ranging
from 734,09 – 8,65 ohm-meters.
