PREDIKSI PENJUALAN KELAPA SAWIT MENGGUNAKAN METODE DOUBLE EXPONENTIAL SMOOTHING (STUDI KASUS : PT. SINAR REKSA KENCANA)

Abstract

Prediction is an important tool in effective and efficient planning. Prediction a projection or an uncertain estimated level of events in the future by using past data where scientific data will be analyzed specifically by using statistical method. PT Sinar Reksa Kencana a State-Owned palm oil sales. The availability of palm oil sales is very important to fill the needs of the people in companies. Palm oil supplies are managed to anticipate uncertainty in the demand and availability of palm oil in the event of crop failure in the palm oil supply area. Therefore, prediction using the double exponential smoothing method is an activity to make an improvement in prediction by averaging or smoothing the value of actual data obtained from past data in an exponential manner continuously. The results obtained from this study are the results of prediction using the double exponential smoothing method and the level of accuracy with MAD and MSE errors.
