Isolation, characterization, and in vitro testing against murine leukemia P-388 cell of flavonoid compounds from Bauhinia hullettii Prain stem bark have been
performed. Isolation was carried out by extraction and fractionation. Extraction used
meceration method at room temperature to obtain n-Heksana extract, dicloromethane
extract, and etil acetate extract. Based on phytochemical testing, etil acetate extract
contain flavonoid compounds. Extraxct etil acetate was fractionated by vacum
column chromatography, gravitation column chromatography, and flash column
chromatography. The fractionation resulted yellow crystal that having melting point
of 188
o
C - 189
o
C. The in vitro testing against murine leukimia P-388 cell of isolated
flavonoid compounds show “medium” activity with IC
50 = 22,5 μg/ml.

The purpose of this research to increase student achievement on the subject of
solubility and solubility product in class XI SMA Al Huda Pekanbaru. Form of
research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample
consisted of two classes. Experiment class was given implementing model
cooperative learning Active Knowledge Sharing, while the control class wasnot
given implementing model cooperative learning Active Knowledge Sharing. The
t-test is used for data analysis technique. Based on the final results of data
processing using t-test formula with dk=53 and ɑ =0,05 obtained tarithmetic>ttable
(2.68>1.67) means that the application of model cooperative learning Active
Knowledge Sharing can improve student achievement on the subject of solubility
and solubility product in class XI SMA Al Huda pekanbaru. Category Increased
student achievement on experiment class including high with the normalized gain
scores (N-gain) about 0,75

Research on the application of learning cycle 7E model with the goal of
improving student’s achievement in the subject of salt hydrolysis science in class
XI MA Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru. This form of research is experimental research
with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Data is collected in May
2013. The sample consisted of two classes. Experiment class that were subjected
of learning cycle 7E model, while the control class is a class that untreated
learning cycle 7E model. Data analysis used t-test (different test). Based on the
results obtained tvalue final calculation is 2.81 greater than ttable
is 1.67 and the
application this model capable to increase student’s achievement about 12,14%,
so it can be concluded that the application of learning cycle 7E to improve
student’s achievement on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI Science MA

An experimental research on the application of the active learning strategy type
true false chain has been concluded to investigate the improvement of student
learning outcomes on the subject of the oxidation-reduction reaction in class X
SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. From three classes of the population, it was taken two
classes as the homogeneous samples, i.e. X.8 and X.7. The X.8 class was a control
class in which they were used to teach by conventional teaching and learning
process, while the X.7 class was taken as the experimental class in which they
were given the treatment of the active learning strategies type True False Chain
implementation. The data of the research was gathered by using testing
techniques, namely the pre-test and post-test. Before the pre-test and post-test, the
samples were tested by using a homogeneity test of homogeneity through T-test of
the two parties in order to obtain two homogeneous classes. The difference in
pretest-posttest values was analyzed by using two T-test samples of the party that
aimed to test the truth of the hypothesis. Based on the results obtained by
statistical calculation that tvalue> ttable (2.070> 1.67), so it can be concluded that
the application of active learning strategies type True False Chain can improve
students’ learning outcomes on the subject of oxidation-reduction reactions in
class X of SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru
