SAPUTRA, IWAN2013-02-182013-02-182013-02-18http://repository.unri.ac.id:80/handle/123456789/2184The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the beef price, chicken meat prices, income per capita, and population on beef demand in Dumai city and what is the most dominant factor affecting the demand for beef in Dumai The data used in this study is a secondary data is data obtained from various agencies or institutions related issues, such as the Animal Husbandry Department Dumai data consists of number of requests beef and broiler chickens in the city of Dumai and sale price of beef and meat broiler chickens. BPS Office of Dumai City consists of number of residents in the city of Dumai, Dumai City of GDP, well as other data associated with this research. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded from this study are 1) the price of beef, chicken meat prices, per capita income and population have a simultaneous effect on demand for beef in the town of Dumai for 87.0% of the total demand for beef in Dumai city, the rest influenced by other factors not examined in this study. 2) The dominant factor affecting the demand for beef in Dumai City is the price of chicken meat, partially because only chicken meat prices are affecting demand for beef in Dumai city, while the beef price, income per capita and the population has no effect the demand for beef in the city of Dumai.otherBeef DemandBeef PricesBroiler Chicken Meat PriceIncome Per CapitaPopulationANALISIS PERMINTAAN DAGING SAPI DI KOTA DUMAI
