Data were obtained and collected through the initial test and final test before and after exercise . The data were analyzed descriptively. The results show that the identification problem SMK 7 boy’s batminton team does not have the power and endurance arm and shoulder muscles are nice. This is due to the lack of exercise that leads to physical exercise as well as training programs that are less systematic and planned. The issues raised in this study is "What are the effects of exercise lateral raise with dumbbells of the arm and shoulder muscle strength and endurance in boys senior high school batminton team SMKN 7 Pekanbaru?" Research hypothesis proposed in this study was "There is the influence of exercise lateral raise with dumbbells of muscle strength and endurance in the arms and shoulders muscle 7 senior high school boys batminton team Pekanbaru. "This study aimed to determine the effects of exercise lateral raise with dumbbells rapid fire arm and shoulder muscle strength and endurance in 7 senior high school boys batminton team Pekanbaru. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant effect of exercise lateral raise with dumbbells (X) of the arm and shoulder muscle strength and endurance (Y) on the boys batminton team SMKN 7 Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis of the t test result of 14.6 and t-table of 1.860.t-computation>t-table so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 accepted.
