The purpose of this study was to compare the morphological characteristics of three fern species belonged to Lygodiaceae family, that had been collected from Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir Regency of Riau Province. The species used in this study were Lygodium circinatum, Lygodium microphyllum, and Lygodium salicifolium. The observation of morphological character showed that Lygodium species could be distinguished based on the leaf and sporangia character. L. cicrcintum has elongated pinnae arranged in a circular position. L. microphyllum was characterized by having small leaf with rounded tip, had rounded triangle pinnae.
