Forms of research is collaborative action research. This study was conducted in two cycles. Research procedures were carried out in a class action including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study show once applied the structural approach to cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together increase student participation in the classroom resulted in increased student learning outcomes in math class XI IPA 6 SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.
